Heart Transplant All Done, Now The Battle

It didn’t go the day we thought, next day with part of my family here I was given my new life saving heart! Yep, I needed and God provided!

3 1/2 days days in and I’m out of ICU now on Stanfords J5. WOW, things going super fast. Two chest drain tubes pulled and 2 left! Put on 30 lbs of water bringing me to a beached whale feeling!

All is going awesome and starting to feel really good considering.

I do not know much about the donor and family but I can say, with my hearts deepest emotion, I am so sorry for your loss. I pray for Gods peace over the family and do not have enough words for the gift I have been blessed with.
