It’s Transplant Day!

As I’m in hospital already my night nurse came in at 1:15 am and said they have a heart for me!

My sleepy grog feeling wants him to go away until I understand, A NEW HEART!!!!!

Immediately the work starts, copious amounts of blood work, Covid test, body scrub and no eating or drinking! Whew I’m exhausted already!

I called Renee and she drove over, now the wait & wait…. Plan is to go in at 10am for surgery prep with surgery at 1 pm.

3 days in hospital and a heart becomes available! We are so sorry for someone’s loss and knowing the gift of life comes from them and of course God too! Thank you all who are involved!
